Members of the Irish Fragile X Society took part in a programme to raise awareness of Fragile X Syndrome.
Chairperson of the Irish Fragile X Society Maria Panza joined other parents and educational psychologist Colin Reilly in a discussion on Fragile X Syndrome. Topics covered included the support needs of families at the time of diagnosis, the importance of early intervention and the need for professionals to be informed about the condition and the kinds of strategies that are effective. The discussion touched on some of the frustrating but endearing aspects of fragile x. Listen to the programme here.
